Dominique Aegerter


Born September 30, 1990 in Rohrbach, Switzerland, is a Swiss Grand Prix motorcycle road racer, currently competing in the 125cc World Championship.
Dominique Aegerter started his career in motocross. Then he raced at the ADAC Pro Junior Cup 125cc Road Racing in 2003, later in 2005 he joined German Road Racing Championship racing in the IDM –series 125cc class until 2006 when he was offered by the Italian Multimedia Racing in the 125cc world chmpoinship, then he made his125cc world championship debut in the 2006 Portuguese GP replacing his fellow Swissman Vincent Braillard for the race and the rest of the season.
Aegerter continued with the same team for the 2007 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season and still had Italian teammates Raffaele de Rosa and Simone Grotzkyj. He had a very slow start only managing to score back to back 15th place at the 2007 Catalan motorcycle Grand Prix and at the 2007 Dutch TT, and later at the wet 2007 Japanese motorcycle Grand Prix at 11th place. 
This championship points scoring finishes only manage he finished at 23rd place with 7 points.


For the 2008 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, he was offered alongside Frenchman Mike Di Meglio by Ajo Motorsport to ride for them. They both accepted it, while Di Meglio has a full factory Derbi RSA 125, he uses only a standard Derbi RS 125 making him the only Derbi rider to use a standard Derbi bike. Results improved however, as he finished 16th overall, peaking with three 8th places - ahead of di Meglio in Spain, and in San Marino and Malaysia
For 2009, Aegerter stays with the team alongside Sandro Cortese, he finished 13Th overall.
In 2010 Dominique finish 15th overall for his first moto2 campain with the TECHNOMAG-CIP moto2 team
2011, Dominique start to improve, his first podium on the last event of the year promote him to 8th in the overall standing

2001: Aprilia 250cc 4th  in the championship, private bike and team, 3 times on the podium
2002: Honda Fortuna 250 NSR, 3th in the championship, 7 times on the podium
2003: Honda Fortuna RS 250, 2th in the championship, 2 wins
2004:Honda RS 250 Fortuna, 8th in the championship, one win.
2005: Ducati D’Antin Motogp championship
2006: Ducati superbike SC Caracchi private team(one 5th, one 7th, one 8th, two 10th )
2007:Hannspree Honda Ten Kate world Superbike, overall standing 7th.
2008:Hannspree Honda private team, three times in the top ten.
2009:Cev Moto2 Championship two races, one second and a 5th position.
2010:Moto2 World Championship, 14th in final standing, 3rd in Germany 3th, Win in Malaysia on Suter MMX Moto2 bike.
2011:World Superbike Pedercini private team, 
                                Roberto was riding a Customer spec race bike not a Factory spec race bike.
