Mise a jour du calendrier Motogp

Suite à l’annulation du Grand Prix du Japon en raison de la récente éruption volcanique, la Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme a accepté la proposition émise par le Bureau Permanent des Grands Prix de reporter le Grand Prix du Japon au 3 octobre 2010.

Ci-dessous, la mise à jour du calendrier 2010 en gras :

Following the postponement of the Grand Prix of Japan, the FIM has accepted the proposal made by the Grand Prix Permanent Bureau to reschedule the Grand Prix of Japan for October 3rd, 2010.

Motegi, a bientot en Octobre / Motegi, see you in October

Le GP du Japon a été annulé et c'est certainement une bonne décision, il etait possible de s'y rendre mais la grosse incertitude etait le retour avec le GP d'Espagne a Jerez de la Frontera le week-end suivant et le cout lié a la logistique. Au Japon c'est une grosse déception pour les fans mais la bonne nouvelle c'est que le GP aura bien lieu en Octobre.

The Japanese GP scheduled this week-end has been postponded to October and this seems to be the correct decision, even it would have been possible to go, the big problem was to put at risk the following GP held in Jerez de la Frontera, not enough time to get all the material and people back in time and the real cost of it. It's a disappointment for the Japanese fans but the good news is the Japanese Motorcycle GP is still on the calendar and will take place in October.

Sur le site Italien GPone ils annoncent le report du GP du Japon suite a l'éruption du volcan Eyjafjoll sur le glacier Eyjafjallajokull en Islande qui paralyse l'espace aérien dans toute l'europe. Le GP du Japon est reporté au 3 Octobre 2010.

Following the eruption of the Eyjafjoll volcano in Iceland and the chaos all over European airport, the Italian website GPone is reporting the cancellation of the Japanese GP, it will take place on the 3rd of October 2010.

GP moto2 du Qatar

Shoya Tomizawa a remporté une victoire historique lors de l'ouverture du nouveau championnat du monde moto2 au Qatar.

9ème des essais malgré une petite excursion dans l'herbe qui lui a coûté 3/10ème de seconde Shoya était assez serein car il savait qu'il avait la vitesse pour pouvoir se battre devant, si la victoire était encore un rêve au départ de ce grand prix historique puisqu'il ouvre l'ère d'une nouvelle catégorie, c'est un rêve qu'il a transformé a l'issu d'une course parfaite, 6ème au premier tour Shoya est revenu rapidement sur les leaders de la course puis les a passés un par un pour se retrouver en première position au 6ème tour.
En maintenant un rythme élevé Shoya s'est alors concentré a ne pas commettre d'erreurs, ne pas se retourner de peur de se déconcentrer, derrière ses pousuivants se sont légèrement gênés et Shoya a commencer a augmenter son avance pour franchir la ligne d'arrivée avec plus de 4 secondes d'avance sur Alex Debon et Jules Cluzel qui complètent le podium.

Dominique Aegerter a surmonte ses petits déboires des essais et s'adjuge la 11éme position après avoir bataillé ferme pendant toute la course, un changement de pneumatique lui a permis de se mettre rapidement dans le bain puisqu'au premier tour il était déjà en 11ème position, il s'est alors bien battu et mérite bien son surnom de Domi figther.
Dominique en terminant 11ème permet au team TECHNOMAG-CIPd'avoir ses deux pilotes a l'arrivé et dans les points.

Shoya Tomizawa takes historic debut win for the new moto2 class.

Shoya became the first man to win a moto2 Grand Prix on his TECHNOMAG-CIP Suter MMx moto2, 9th on the grid Shoya move quickly to 6 on lap one and start chasing the leading group, on lap 6 he took the lead and never look back building up a comfortable margin over the chasing group.
Starting 20th on the grid Dominique Aegerter his team mate finish 11th after a difficult practice session, but a late tyre choice for the race allowed him to fight for the points. Dominique had a good start and was 11th on lap 1, he did fight during the whole race and really deserve his nickname "Domi fighter".

となった。9位でスタートし、スタート周で早くも6位に。先頭集団を追いかけ、6周目でトップに。
一度も後ろを振り返ることなく、２位集団との距離を広げていった。
祥也のチームメート、２０位からスタートしたDominique Aegerterは、１１位でフィニッシュ。
タフな予選を切り抜け、決勝用に選んだタイヤが正解だった。Dominiqueは、良いスタートを切り、
スタート周で11位に。レース中、ずっと戦い続けた彼のあだ名はやはり”Domi-fighter”が相応しい。

Essais qualificatifs moto2 au Qatar / Qatar moto2 official practice



La première séance d'essais qualificatifs pour le moto2 a eu lieu et ce fut assez palpitant de voir ces 41 pilotes en piste, les chronos sont très serrés et une petite erreur sur le tour chrono devient soudainement un dilemme car il est possible de perdre plusieurs positions, pour preuve le 30ème est a 1'88s de la pôle.
Pour nos pilotes ce fut aussi une séance intense, Shoya e retrouvé de bonnes sensations et se classe 9ème en ayant commis une erreur dans sont meilleur tour, Dominique lui a peut être été trop agressif en pilotage et il a ainsi perdu en efficacité.
Le niveau d'adhérence de la piste a beaucoup évolué et le pneumatique qui fonctionnait bien en séance d'essais libre a été moins efficace en qualification.
Il reste encore le warm-up pour évaluer les réglages et le choix du pneus de courses qui a été remis en cause lors de cette séance d'essais, ensuite il faudra prendre un bon départ.

The first ever moto2 qualifying practice is done and that was quite entertaining to watch 41 riders on the race track, lap times are tight and a small mistake during a lap can be costly in term of position.
Shoya qualify in 9th position, he wanted to be on the 2nd row but an off track line during his best lap prevent him to do so but he was happy with the result.
Dominique struggle a little and admit he was riding a little bit too aggressive, he qualify in 20th position and of course he was a little disapointted after making a good start in free practice 1, now he has to focus on the start.
The race track did change from the previous session and the tyre choice will be crucial for the race, something to look at during the warm-up.

Qatar première séance d'essais libres moto2 / Qatar moto2 free practice




Les deux pilotes du Team Technomag-CIP avant la première séance d'essais libres.

Séance d'essais animé dans le garage du team après la chute de Shoya en début de séance.
Shoya a perdu pas mal de temps suite a cette chute, malgré tout il a réussi a rouler en fin de séance et a améliorer son chrono pour se situer en 14ème position.
Dominique a bien roulé dès le début de séance et c'est un bon départ, il a finalement réalisé le 4ème chrono de cette première séance d'essais et il va falloir continuer a travailler pour améliorer les réglages de la moto pour se maintenir a ce niveau.


Dominique has been the surprise by setting the 4th fastest time of this first ever moto2 practice session, still work to do to improve the bike setting but still a good way to start.
Shoya had minor issue by crashing early in the session, this did cost him some track time but he was able to to keep running after his mechanics fix the bike and was able to set the 14th best time, some more work to do to improve the set up of his Suter MMX.

Premier GP au Qatar a Losail/ First GP at Losail, Qatar


Voila le premier GP de la saison est déjà la, les essais sont terminés et les choses sérieuses commencent avec beaucoup d'incertitudes et de questions.

La gestions des pneumatiques.
Quantité limités (enfin presque) 12 pneumatiques (avant et arrière) compris dans une enveloppe global de 40.000€ (fourniture de pneumatiques+ service montage et transport)pour un pilote pour la saison, mais il est possible d'obtenir 4 pneumatiques supplémentaires a chaque épreuve a conditions de les payer, donc les teams les plus riches qui vont pouvoir s'offrir plus de pneumatiques auront un avantages aux essais sur les teams moins riches!
Pour Losail au Qatar un choix entre 2 types de pneumatiques pour l'avant et un choix entre 2 types de pneumatiques pour l'arrière.

Pour les moteurs c'est la même chose pour tout le monde, un moteur neuf a été attribué a chaque pilote le soir des essais Irta de Jerez de la Frontera, ce moteur est prévu pour une durée de 3 épreuves (Qatar, Japon, Espagne).
Si un problème technique survient durant les essais il est possible de changer de moteur après la séance, si un pilote rencontre un problème technique au premier tour de la séance d'essais il lui faudra attendre la fin de la séance pour le faire, comme le moteur de remplacement ne sera pas disponible avant la fin de la séance d'essais, impossible donc pour le pilote de poursuivre sa séance d'essais.

Qatar GP is coming next, testing time is finish and the real story will start soon with some doubt and questions.

Tyres.
Limited quantity(almost), for a rider you got 12 tyres per event in the allocation for 40.000€ per year(tyres+service and transportation)but you can get 4 more tyre at every event if you pay for it so this mean a richer team will be able to use more tyres during the practice session and can get an avantage over the teams unable to pay for the extra tyres!
For Losail the riders will have choice between 2 kind of front tyres and 2 kind of rear tyres.

Engine.
Same for everyone, at the end of the Irta test in Jerez every rider got a new engine for the first 3 GP (Qatar, Japan, Spain).
In case of engine trouble during a practice session, the team won't be able to change the engine before the end of the practice because no engine will be available before the session end, so if a rider have a problem in his first lap he will have to seat out for the rest of the practice.
